About the Club
The Columbia Philatelic Society, located in mid Missouri, caters to stamp collectors of all interests. The club has about 45 members of all ages, from the beginning collector to the expert. Member collecting interests vary widely and inclu de United States, worldwide or topical collections. There is something for everyone.
The club is a affiliate of the American Philatelic Society and maintains relationships with several other philatelic organizations, particularly throughout Missouri.

Meetings

The Columbia Philatelic Society meets monthly on the third Tuesday of the month from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at Boone Landing, 109 Keene Street. Monthly meetings consist of programs, stamp selling, buying and trading. American Philatelic Society circuit books are also available. The circuit books contain a selection of U.S. and world wide stamps. There are several door prizes at each meeting. |

Newsletter
A newsletter, The Columbian is published monthly with news of club activities, local stamp shows and other items of philatelic interest. The Columbian is mailed to all club members just prior to meeting to provide club information and a reminder of the meeting.

Special Features
The club has numerous resources available for member's use. These include Scott Catalogs, lights for tagging, and other reference material.
Fall and Spring auctions are held for members to dispose of extra material and pick up new stamps for their collections. These meetings are especially well received and attended.
The club embarks on special projects that prove interesting to the members and support community events, such as providing cachets for the Balloon Race
